This session will discuss proper planning and usage of fall protection in the concrete/masonry industry. Attendees will learn about different types of PFAS (Personal Fall Arrest System) devices and the need for a written program. This session will also include an exercise on creating a JSA (Job Safety Analysis) to write a fall protection program.

1. Recognize the importance of a written fall protection plan
2. Demonstrate proper selection of personal fall protection equipment
3. Identify inspection points of fall protection and the role of the competent person
4. Define the points of training per OSHA subpart M
