W. Mark McGinley , Ph. D PE will talk to us about High Performance Exterior Masonry Walls. The presentation will generally discuss exterior wall systems and their behavior, talk about wall R and energy use/thermal mass and present a number of “high” performance exterior masonry wall configurations and costs.
Mark will also discuss how masonry can compete with ICF on an energy level and how to overcome selling techniques of the ICF industry.
Mark McGinley is a Professor and Endowed Chair for Infrastructure Research, Civil and Environmental Engineering, J.B. Speed School of Engineering University of Louisville.
