This presentation will provide an overview of best practices for masonry repair. Content will include structural repair and strengthening, repointing, crack stitching, reconstruction and aesthetic repairs. This course will introduce attendees to a vast range of masonry repair options and techniques, including appropriate types of repair materials.

1. Explore appropriate repair techniques in masonry
2. Determine how to select appropriate repair materials for both modern and historic masonry, including compatibility of stiffness and vapor transmission
3. Identify ways to incorporate repairs that are minimally invasive with aesthetically pleasing results
4. Evaluate various repair options to use in masonry repair situations
