Masonry Construction & Materials Certification Workshop

The purpose of the workshop is to provide the professional with a working knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing masonry materials, design of reinforced and non-reinforced masonry to SECCCI and ACI 530 requirements, and all weather masonry construction practices.

The workshop is a two day course. Each participant is provided with a Masonry Resource Manual that includes current industry standards pertaining to the subjects discussed. At the end of the course participants are tested.

Topics covered include: bricks, blocks, mortar & grout, control & expansion joints, wire reinforcing, safety, sealants, and model building codes. The topics are presented by industry professionals and educators.
