Stone Designs will introduce architects, designers and engineers to a new design palette that is affordable, easy to use and proven to be a leader in various categories of masonry design award programs throughout the United States and Canada.
During this one hour presentation, participants will:
• Understand the mechanism of quarried and Calcium Silicate Stone formation
• Identify Calcium Silicate Stone composition and properties influences on design decisions
• Appreciate the effect of different masonry materials on movement joint and other design requirements
• Utilize proper detailing techniques for moisture management in a masonry veneer wall system
• Recognize the overall design versatility of stone as a cladding material
