COURSE DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES

During this 1 day hands-on course, students will learn skills related to the cleaning, sealing, and joint stabilization of interlocking concrete pavers.

Course objectives include:

• Explanation of different chemicals.
• Equipment used.
• Cleaner & sealer applications.
• Joint sand stabilization.
• Equipment maintenance.
• Sealer stripping process.
Materials used within the course include: interlocking concrete pavers, acid cleaners, detergents, solvent based cleaners, water based sealers, solvent based sealers, and joint sand stabilizers.
