Reading financial statements sometimes begins in the back of a pickup truck on the back of an envelope for some small to medium size concrete contractors. This session will focus on structuring, reading, tracking of financial statements in correlation to preparing income statements, understanding job, overhead and equipment costs.

1. Assess the capability of financial statements for the use of reporting income and expenses
2. Measure hidden weakness in reported assets and liabilities as related to financial position
3. Specify how to read and use financial and income statements
4. Identify actual job cost and profits as it relates to the income statement
