This course will help develope the competent person for fall proteciton> THis will cover most of OSHA 1926 Subpart M and some of Subpart L (Scaffold Standard) we will teach the competent pewrson how to first try to eliminate the all hazard using controlls and protection then move onto other problem solving. The attendee will learn how to devlope a risk assessment, fall protection plan, and rescue plan. The attendee should know how to do basic equipment inspecitons and where to find product data needed for the equipoment being used on a project. We will spend time hands on with fall proteciton equipment as well as problem solving in groups to ensure hazards have been eliminated or protected from in a few scenirios.
