This course encapsulates sensitive issues regarding emergency response level II. This is an advanced level in which responders are directly involved in the action of mitigating hazardous chemical release. Chemicals, if handled improperly, can become a hazard that could be a serious threat to human life and the environment. To reduce or eliminate these hazards, emergency response and awareness levels have been set up to recognize these hazards and minimize the risk to human life and environmental damage.
