In 2010, AB 2774 changed the way Cal/OSHA cites employers for “serious” violations. Cal/OSHA’s Chief Counsel recently asserted that it is far easier to cite for a serious violation than under the previous rules.
Kevin Bland is an attorney with Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart that will provide insight on this new rule and how employers can prepare if Cal/OSHA comes knocking.
